How much does the clinic cost?
The 4-week summer ID clinic is completely free and open to all. There is no fee and no tryout to take part.
Who can sign up?
Any boy born 2014–2017, grouped by birth year (January–December). We want the standout wherever he plays now — rec field or club team. Potential over pedigree.
Is this open to current Albertson SC players?
No. Albertson Select is about identifying new talent in Queens, so it’s open to players who aren’t already with Albertson SC. Current club players already develop inside the Home.
Does my son need to already play club soccer?
No. The clinic is open to every player regardless of current level or team. The goal is to identify talent early, not to require a pedigree.
What happens after the four weeks?
Staff work with every player on one consistent standard. The top 14 per birth year are invited into Select training — two sessions a week plus monthly showcases that Albertson SC staff attend.
Is a spot in Select or the Home guaranteed?
No. The clinic is open to all, but Select training is selective — the top 14 per birth year. Identified players then keep developing inside the Home, with a clear next step through a trial block and call-up.
Is there year-round development?
Yes. Every player identified into Select also earns eligibility for the Albertson Select Futsal Program — year-round futsal that keeps players sharp and developing between outdoor seasons.
